Integrating CRM with Business Communication Tools (Slack, Teams, Zoom)

Sales reps live in two worlds. Their CRM holds customer data, deal stages, and activity history. Their communication tools host conversations with colleagues, customers, and prospects.

Both Slack and Teams support event driven alerts. When a CRM event occurs, the system posts a notification to a specific channel or user.

Events include a high value lead being assigned, a support ticket being escalated, or a deal close date passing without an update.

The notification includes an action button: “View record,” “Add note,” or “Escalate to manager.”

These alerts turn CRM from a passive database into an active collaborator. Sales managers do not need to run reports to find stalled deals; the system tells them when attention is needed.
